Paul started experimenting with alcohol in high school at age 13 with 4 of his buddies and drank until he puked. She started at the age of 12 years old getting high on cough syrup with codeine and quickly turned to narcotic pain relievers when her father passed away. This was the catalyst for Arielle to completely disconnect from reality and her addiction began to unfold. Shane started experimenting with drugs and alcohol in high school smoking weed and drinking alcohol. By the age of 19 he had graduated to cocaine and crystal meth. George started using drugs at the age of 16 as a coping mechanism for dealing with his feelings of insecurity when he discovered he was gay.
